Common Mistakes

Each year, right here in our neighborhood, hundreds of people experience accidents and minor injuries that eventually lead to pain and health problems that deeply affect their joy and happiness...yet they put a Band-Aid over heir problem and never get it taken care of.

For example: they might want to forget the accident ever happened…or ignore the pain in their neck…or mask the pain by popping a few aspirin…or worse of all, they ignore their injuries and hope it’ll all go away. As President of Aim High Accident and Injury Centers, I see this happening every day – yet the sad fact is, most of this suffering and fear is totally unnecessary.

Auto accident injury victims may suffer from neck pain, headaches, dizziness, shoulder pain, insomnia, back pain, numbness, jaw pain and fatigue. Studies have shown that after some so-called “minor accidents,” severe injuries can result. Yet the problems don’t appear for months, weeks, even years.

If you would like to receive a free complimentary consultation with at one of our offices in Denver, Aurora, Wheat Ridge, Arvada or Lakewood- simply contact us and our staff will schedule an appointment.

If you’ve been in an accident, either in an automobile or job related, or other accident in the last 30 days, it’s important you contact us immediately, before damage is permanent.

Best wishes in your health. We are only a “Click” away.

How simple accidents can turn into lifelong pain!

The 8 Most Common Mistakes You Can Make if You Have Recently Been Injured or in an Auto Accident.

Common Mistake #1: Failing to Seek Immediate Medical Treatment After an Accident

I see patients every day who say to me, “Gee, if only I had gotten this problem taken care of sooner, I wouldn’t be in so much pain today.”  Ever since I’ve heard those first words uttered, I’ve made it my mission to help every accident victim.

  • Did you know that every year 1 out of 10 people will become involved in an auto accident?
  • Did you know that over 20% of all accidents lead to SERIOUS and long-term injuries?
  •  Another 15% require immediate care to insure that long-term care isn’t needed?
  • And, an amazing 30% don’t ever seek medical treatment?

It’s amazing when I hear how many people ignore the terrible effects of an accident or injury.

If you have been involved in an auto accident or accident of any kind, it’s important to get a complete examination, from a doctor at Aim High Health and Chiropractic. What’s the worst that can happen?  He or she says, “No problems!”  But the best that can happen is we find a minor or major issues, and get it successfully treated today – not 6 or 7 months from now when it’s creating excruciating agony and pain.

Not seeking treatment from a specialist in accident victims is mistake #1!

Common Mistake #2: Taking Aspirin To “Hide” Your Pain and Injury

This is one of the top “9 deadly sins” of health.  After you’ve been in an accident, if your body is shooting off messages of pain, it’s like a messenger trying to warn you of an impending storm!  To turn away and ignore the messenger’ message...even worse, to gag them and lock them in the closet...well, that’s just wrong.

Yet, do you know this is exactly what happens to millions of American’s every day?  A person gets hit from behind and experiences whiplash, and for the next week they feel pain in their neck and shoulders. They often “gag” the pain signal by popping an aspirin.  Like ignoring the messenger’s cry of warning.

If you’re experiencing pain on a regular or even an infrequent basis, and you’ve been taking pain medication to “gag” the pain signal, this might be costing you a lot of happiness, joy, and freedom in your life.  The solution is simple: don’t shoot (or gag) the messenger.  Take action on the pain signal your body sends you, by treating the root cause.

Common Mistake #3: Not treating the root source of your pain after an accident

Do you know that some non-specialist doctors think that the way you treat a serious accident injury is to pump you full of drugs?  That’s like taking a shot of whisky to cure a headache.  Just doesn’t work to solve the problem! (Only hides the problem for a few hours, this is what drugs do.  After the drugs wear off, you’ve still got the problem.)  I hope you recognize the flaw in this thinking.

The human body is amazing. It’s a wonderful machine.  Your heart beats over 100,000 times in your lifetime and yet you don’t even notice it consciously! Your internal systems run well without you even noticing.  (Well, that is until we muck it up by ingesting harmful foods.  But that’s another discussion.)

Here’s the point: Your body was not meant to ingest foreign substances to “cure” it’s accident related injuries.  Taking a pill to stop a pain signal, only masks the signal - it does NOT solve your problem at its root cause. It’s like drinking a case of beer to solve your depression.  It might feel good for one night, but the next morning you still feel bad.  At Aim High Health and Chiropractic, we put 100% of our focus on reducing your pain by focusing on the root source or cause of all your pain. This approach has helped hundreds of people get well again, who thought they never could.

Common Mistake #4: Not consulting with a skilled professional who treats auto injuries.

It can be difficult to find a doctor who takes care of auto-injuries. In fact, Aim High takes care of many car accident injuries locally in the Denver, Aurora, Wheat Ridge and Arvada areas.  Aim High Health and Chiropractic has an outstanding track record treating whiplash and auto injury, car accident cases.

You need to seek a thoroughly trained doctor who:

#1: Understands accident related injuries and knows the “hidden” signs the predict if serious injury exists;

#2: Understands effective methods to treat accident related injuries, that are preferably pain free and surgery free;

#3: Understands how to treat your injuries at its root cause.

#4: Continually educates and learns about the latest discoveries in pain relief & accident related injuries.

Aim High Health and Chiropractic doctors have extensive experience in all four areas and in your search for a health professional.

Common Mistake #5: Failing to take immediate action when your body sends you a “pain signal” after an accident

The #1 failure trait in people who have been involved in an accident or injury and feels pain, is not taking immediate action on “pain signals.” The longer you wait, the closer the storm is to hitting the shoreline.  The longer you try to ignore the pain in your body, the more you’re getting into deep water. The longer you delay in seeing a specialist who understands what is happening in your body, the closer you get to the “big day of reckoning.”

Here’s what the “big day of reckoning” is: this happens after your body has repeatedly sent you pain signals...warning signs...that something isn’t right, and you’ve chosen to ignore them.  Well, one day you’ll bend down to lift a box and WHAM!, that’s when something terrible happens.  Your “day of reckoning.”  This happens in most every case sooner or later.  (And usually it’s sooner.)   This also happens to people involved in accidents who feel totally fine.  Damage has occurred but they didn’t even know it.  Their “big day of reckoning” can strike at any moment.  It’s always unexpected.  And many times too late to do much about, except after extensive rehabilitation treatment. Best of all, all this can be avoided if you get early examination and check-up after every accident, from a trained specialist, like the doctors at Aim High Health and Chiropractic.

Now that you have this report, you can avoid this. Now you know there are solutions for you. Now you know that relief is just a short drive or call away.  If you now choose to ignore the information given you, prepare for your “day of reckoning” experience.

Common Mistake #6: Making A Visit To A Chiropractor A Low Priority After An Accident

This is usually directly related to #3.  If a person has a habit to ignore pain signals in the body by “roughing it out” or “biting the bullet”, we know one thing is for certain; they make health a very low priority.  Even after an accident, no matter how major or minor, this person doesn’t care enough about their one and only body to take care of it.  (Ironically, these same people change oil in their cars every 3 months like clockwork, service their air filters as reliably as the sun rising, and bring the dog to the vet every quarter. Yet don’t ever take care of themselves).

Your goal is NOT to be the richest person in the graveyard.  Your goal is not to be the best mom or dad in the graveyard.  Health MUST come first.  All else is secondary.  If you don’t have your health, you can’t be an effective leader for your children, you don’t have the energy to help the community, and you can’t be successful on the job.

I’ve seen unhealthy people become millionaires after they take up jogging, simply because it gives them the vibrant health that was lacking, to make them succeed.  If you’re experiencing pain, there is a solution.  In this report we’ve presented an alternative to feeling discomfort.

Common Mistake #7: Not knowing the best options in Auto-Injury related care!

Most people think that treatment from a specialist has to be “expensive”.  Often times, if you’ve been involved in an auto accident or job related injury, your treatment from Aim High Chiropractic may be paid for 100% by your insurance.  (Not in all circumstances, but in many.  Call and we’ll help advise you about your options.) Often times our treatment can be made affordable to anyone.  As a free service we provide, you may call my office to schedule an appointment with a Health Care advisor.  They’ll sit down with you and go over all the programs that are available.

This meeting is a valuable free service we provide, and will help you save the most money. Also, since you’ve been involved in an accident, you may have options that few tell you about.  We’ll help guide you through this complex process and make it all simple for you.

Common Mistake #8: Confusing what’s most urgent, with what’s most important after an accident occurs – this might be the most deadly mistake of all!

Now that you know you must schedule an initial consultation at the Aim High Health and Chiropractic, the worst mistake is not to act on your new knowledge and understanding of your problem.  Okay. We’ve talked about how urgent and important it is to get an examination following any accident. We’ve talked about the importance of listening to your body’s pain signals.  We’ve talked about treating the cause of the pain, and We’ve discussed how our services can be made affordable to nearly anyone needing treatment. We even offer a free initial consultation.  So, there’s no reason that everyone reading this, who’s ever had health problems shouldn’t immediately come in.

Yet, I know from experience that only a percentage of our readers will come in to get help. Why? How could it be that someone who could be in pain right now, even as they’re reading this, would procrastinate and not come in even though we’ve made it super easy?  The answer, my friend, is simple: most people confuse what’s urgent...with what’s most important. Or, they are scared, plain and simple.  There’s no other reason we can think of.

The most important thing you could do is click the link below, right now and contact our office to get scheduled for your free exam.  Even if you feel 100% healthy.  Why wouldn’t you, after all it is so easy. Yet, I know that people’s lives are controlled by what’s most urgent, NOT what’s the most important.

This can be the #1 failure trait of some unhappy people.  They spend their entire lives on the treadmill, chasing after what’s most urgent in the moment, and never taking action now on what’s most important.

This may not be you because you have read this far. Make sure you schedule an exam following any/every accident or injury following an accident – and make it a BIG priority NOW, not something you do “when you get around to it.”  Hopefully a little “positive nagging” will change your life. That’s what we’re hoping for.

If you’ve read this far, it’s now time to contact Aim High Health and Chiropractic, and schedule your free consultation.  We would love to meet you in person, and become your advisor for the rest of your life.  We look at all our patients as our dear friends. And, unlike other business or professionals who treat you like a second class citizen, We make sure you stay healthy throughout your life.  This is why we get so many referrals.

The definition of insanity is: Doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting to get a different result.  Lee Iacocca said that the trait he most admired in all leaders was the ability to make a decision. The most successful people in our society are those that take action.  I hope that I’ve shed light on the problems of accidents and how they can lead to big problems if left untreated.  And if we can be available for any assistance or questions, please call us at (303) 922-2977.

Nothing is more important than your health.  Nothing is more important to your family than seeing you happy, vibrant, alive, and free from the shackles of a life in pain.  You have been given a new alternative to living life the “old way” in this report.  You know what to do. I hope I’ve been persuasive in convincing you to take action now to get this problem solved.   Now it’s up to you.

Sincerely yours,

Dr Conrad Bui. DC
